Homework review
Only one student came up with last week home work. We reviewed the homework and learnt a few new words.
Please ensure that you work students to complete homework. 

Story
It was puzzling to hear the responses when I asked the question - What do you know about Ramadasu?
The answers were - 
       "I am not sure I know him. May be my neighbor or his son"
       "I don't know him"
       "Perhaps I met him in Howdy Modi last week"

I told the students the story of Sri Ramadasu and why he was a great devotee, saint and poet.

Conversation
When your uncle comes to your home, how does the conversation begin and how does it continue. Students had a bit "too much" fun during this learning and hence this exercise needed to show up in the homework as well.

Learn about navaratri and speak for one minute in next class in only Telugu

Develop the conversation with your uncle - at least 10 sentences - 5 that you ask your uncle and the remaining 5 that your uncle asks you, along with answers. Write them in Telugu. For example...
Welcome uncle, how are you?
I am fine <NAME>, How are you?
I am good. Did you come alone? Why did not aunty and kids come?
Aunt did not come because kids are busy with school
How is your education going on?
It is going on good. I am in my --- grade and I am also in extracurricular activities ---
How is your work/business uncle?
It is fine. I am travelling a lot 
Where did you go recently?
I went to California.
Where in California did you go? What did you see?
I went to Los Angeles. I visited Hollywood studio
Did you like it?
yes. I like it. Did you not see it so far?
No, I never went there.
You should go. I will advise your parents

Reading & Writing revision
We worked on warming up with the concepts discussed last year.
    Students discussed about their impressions about the following
            మాతృ దేవోభవ
            పితృ దేవోభవ
            Why did our ancestors say that? Do you agree? Why? All conversation was in Telugu.

    Dictation with a few words involving gunintams and vattulu. This will continue next week also
    
    niSchayaardhaka, prasnaardhaka, aajnaapoorvaka and aascharyaardhaka vaakyaalu.

Conceptual revision of prathama purusha, madhyama purusha and uttama purusha sentences

Sentence translation revision: 3-5 sentences that start with How and Why were translated by students from English to Telugu. To ensure that the students had practice of writing in Telugu, those Telugu sentences were also written.

How can we know that fact?

Why are you here this morning?
Why do you play with dirt?
