What did we cover in the class?

Core Activity

Assessment
We conducted assessments in class. The goal is to ensure that students are in a class that is at their level and makes it fun for them to learn Telugu. The results were announced.

In parallel, we had students speak for 2-3 minutes about their summer experiences in Telugu. Of course, students were helped when they got stuck at a few places to ensure that they and the co-students understand the right way to translate (not dub) from English.

Homework

Please work with your children to revise gunintalu and vattulu. They will be able to follow the next class very well if they revise the fundamentals.

Please note:

The students are coming without a notebook and pen/pencil. Please ensure that they get a notebook & pen/pencil.

It is highly recommended for the students to have a binder as I plan to give printouts in most classes. The students need to preserve the printouts to prepare well for the exams later in the academic year.

We discussed the end to end exam paper structure and reviewed the following

Dictation words will be given from homework (మన తెలుగు శిశు UKG)

Sentences will be given from what was covered in class

Extra credit opportunities were discussed

Questions on sentences, use your own sentences would be only from what was covered in the class. For those who missed classes, blog is your reference to refer even to past classes. Here is a quick reference.

There are a few sections (padyam, writing 12 Telugu months, directions) that are questions known in advance. So, easy to work on and get marks

Vattulu training continued. Students were provided a printout of Vattulu practice sheet and ప, ఫ, బ, భ, మ, య, ర, ల, వ, శ, ష, స, హ, ళ, ఱ vattulu were discussed along with the words.
*Parents*, please ensure that the students get the worksheet to the class in every class for the next 5 classes.

Homework

మన తెలుగు శిశు UKG
Students need to write 30 words (3 in each page) from pages 52 to 70. .
Parents, please work with the students while they are writing to ensure that they learn it right the first time.

Next class is on March 25 (March 11 is Prajna picnic and March 18 is Spring break holiday).
